Class of 2025

  • On behalf of the NTPA, welcome to senior year. The NTPA’s mission is to promote connections, provide communication and present opportunities for parents that support and enhance the New Trier experience.

This page will be maintained with updates and links to serve as one-stop shopping for parents’ needs. Information and conversation also can be found on the New Trier Parents Facebook page. And be on the lookout for emails from the NTPA regarding parent coffees and programs.

If you’re interested in volunteering and taking part in your student’s year, click on the icon to the left. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at newtrier2025@gmail.com. We hope to connect with you soon.

    Graduation Party

Planning for the Class of 2025 Graduation Party is underway! For parents with a first-time senior, the Graduation Party (Grad Party) is a spectacular event for graduates held at the Northfield campus. It starts at 10 pm on June 1, the night of graduation, and ends at 4 am while watching the sunrise at Gillson Beach.

    1. The Grad Party is safe. Our graduates will be chaperoned by local police, New Trier security staff and parents. Graduates will celebrate together in a substance-free venue all night.
    2. The Grad Party includes all New Trier Class of 2025 graduates. Everyone is invited, and historically more than 90% attend. All of the graduates will enjoy one last amazing night together.
    3. The Grad Party engages your graduate all night long. Continuous music, dancing, food and beverages will entertain your graduate throughout the night, along with fun games, interactive moments and great raffle prizes. There are also quiet spaces for those who want to relax. The night is topped off by a supervised Wilmette Beach sunrise celebration!

Here are some ways you can help make the Grad Party a success:

    • Donate to RevTrak: More than 90% of seniors attend the Grad Party. It’s a fun and safe night for our graduates, but funding is required to cover expenses such as food, entertainment, security, etc. Please consider donating so we can make this an unforgettable night for our seniors. Typical donations range from $100 – $250, but a donation of any size is greatly appreciated.
    • Sign up to volunteer: If you’re interested in being a volunteer, add your name to the 2025 NT Grad Party Volunteer Interest Form, and we’ll reach out closer to the event .
    • Follow us on Instagram (@2025ntgradparty) and Facebook (New Trier Grad Party 2025) to keep up with announcements and view pictures on the night of the event.
    • The Grad Party theme will be revealed in April.

    Graduation

Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 1, for graduation! The ceremony will take place at NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates (5333 Prairie Stone Parkway), starting at 3 p.m. A commencement website will be up and running in January. In February, students will be asked for the phonetic pronunciation of their names in advisery. An email with complete details, including tickets (eight per student), will be sent before spring break.

    Senior Class Service Project

Student leaders of the Class of 2025 have officially begun their Senior Class Service Project: Serve With DigNiTy. Through a partnership with Salute, Inc., and Midwest Veterans Closet, seniors will live by our motto — to commit minds to inquiry, hearts to compassion and lives to the service of humanity — in various ways throughout the year. Click here for the Serve With DigNiTy Instagram page, and please follow.
