Soundtraks
SOUNDTRAKS is New Trier’s student-run sound and video recording club. We record all New Trier music productions using multiple cameras, high-end microphones, and Logic Pro, an industry-standard Digital Audio Workstation.
Students learn to set up for a production, run every aspect of the production, and edit the footage. All of our videos are posted to Youtube.
Soundtraks is a great place to meet new friends, and a cool opportunity to get involved with the music department, even if you aren’t enrolled in a music class.
Plan on attending our first meeting on Thursday, September 5th at 3:40pm in the Soundtraks studio on the Winnetka Campus (W235, next to the radio station). We’ll have a calendar for the year ready at that meeting. Soundtraks can be a casual commitment - students come to the events they can make. -
Stage Crew
Stage Crew is offered 6 days a week. Students choose their own level of participation, days and frequency, according to their personal calendar. Most students participate 2-4x week, and may vary their schedule week by week.
