New Trier Newbies was founded in 2014 by a few transfer students who wanted to better the experience of new students at New Trier. Every open advisory, we meet for breakfast and discussion. We talk about topics to help newbies adjust (ex. Homecoming, good restaurants in the area) and also just socialize. All club members were transfers at one point in their high school career, but the ones who have been at New Trier the longest can be great resources for the newest students. In the summer, we lead tours for new students and contact transfers shortly after they register.

In Winnetka the NT Newbies meet every other Thursday during advisory.
