Guided Study

Guided Study is a program designed to help students complete homework. It is offered many periods of the day and after school. An instructional assistant will help students with work completion, basic organizational skills, and homework tracking. For the program to be successful, students must bring homework to Guided Study and be ready to work and/or ask for assistance. It is a much smaller group than a traditional Study Hall

Referral into Guided Study is through an Multi-Tiered Support Services (MTSS) meeting which includes an adviser chair, MTSS coach, school psychologist, social worker, and the student's adviser. Students are most successful in the Guided Study program when they are invested in learning new strategies to be successful in their classes.
