Description: Students of Transition Center run and operate the site in downtown Glencoe. The store carries all sorts of spirit gear for New Trier. These items include shirts, mugs, stickers, cards, magnets, etc. All these are also designed and created at the Transition Center by the young adults. there. These items are listed for sale both on premise as well as the website. The money from the sales go towards the program and gives students experiences in fields like marketing, sales, and designing products.
Job Tasks:
Kids at Transition could be doing a range of jobs such as:
-Stocking the display shelves.
-Wiping countertops/sweeping sales floors.
-Creating labels for packaging
-Working the register and doing sales with customers
-Designing the New Trier merchandise such cards, mugs, etc.
