Job Details:
Typically, twice a week, a couple of Students/Staff from the Transition Center shuttle over to make/sell warm beverages to the students/staff of New Trier Winnetka Campus. They choose to work in shifts either morning or afternoon. This would be a 1–2-hour shift which gives kids an opportunity to work, learn how to make coffee, use a register, money handling and other important retail skills.
Job tasks:
-Making Coffee & Hot Chocolate
-Cleaning the Barista Counter
-Keeping sale items in stock
-Setting up Display Shelves for sales each day
-Turning on registers to accept payments for the day
-Counting the drawer to ensure there is enough money to make change.
