2024 Tryout Information

2024 New Trier Softball Tryouts

 

Tryouts will take place at both Northfield and Winnetka. Please pay special attention to the location so you show up to the right place!

Tryouts will take place Monday, February 26- Thursday, February 29th at the following times: 

 

Monday, February 26:

 

Freshmen: 3:45-5:45- Meet in Gym 1 & 2 at Northfield

Sophomores-Seniors: 4:10-6:10- Meet in Stage Gym at Northfield

Pitchers/Catchers: Be prepared to stay until 6:30 

 

UPDATED Tuesday, February 27:

Assuming weather holds up, we will plan to practice outside at Duke Childs Field. There will be a shuttle from Northfield to the field. More info will be given at tryouts on Monday:

Outside:

Everyone: 4:10-6:10 at Duke Childs Field

Inside (if weather does not allow):

6:30-8:30 meet in E102/103 at Winnetka

Wednesday, February 28th:

 

Everyone: 3:45-5:30- Meet in fieldhouse at Winnetka

Thursday, February 29: 

 

Everyone: Individual meetings immediately after school. Location TBD

For players offered a spot on a team we will TENTATIVELY practice the following times Friday and Saturday:

 

Friday:

JV: 4:00-6:00

Varsity: 4:30-6:30

 

Saturday:

Everyone: 10:00-1:00

 

**Parent meeting will be March 6**
