Team effort leads Trevs over Red Devils

Total team effort in a big win over a very athletic and well coached Hinsdale Central team 12-4.

The Trevs defense shutout the Red Devils in the second quarter and only allowed 12 shots, forcing nine turnovers. 

Courtney Laden led the team with four caused turnovers and Meg Riley had four ground balls. Meg Gallagher had eight saves in goal also. 

Ellie Bornhoeft tied her career high with 12 draw controls, tallying 93 on the season and giving her 200 career draw controls. She also led an attack that featured nine different players contribute toward the scoring. Bornhoeft had four goals and two assists. Holly Smith added two goals and an assist, Sonja Keneally added three goals and an assist, and Claire Ratke added two assists.

After being up 3-1 at half, the Trevs dominated the draw circle second half 9-5 and played tremendous defense to get the attack the ball and score nine goals.
